Minnesota History 'Whatever' Returns for Third Year March 25

Historians gather for conversations, discussions, workshops and community-building at American Swedish Institute.

The Minnesota Historical Society and the American Swedish Institute invite Minnesota historians to gather for Minnesota History Whatever 3. The annual gathering is open to anyone who does history, in classrooms or museums, exhibits, libraries, online, theater, visual arts, radio, television, film and more.

The Minnesota History Whatever 3 will be held at the American Swedish Institute on Monday, March 25, 2019, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. An opening conversation about the relationship between history and art entitled “Staging History” will be held at Mixed Blood Theatre on Sunday, March 24, 4:30-7 p.m.

Conference registration is $45 ($25 for students) with scholarships available. Registration for the opening conversation is $10 and can be purchased separately. For more information and to register visit http://www.mnhs.org/calendar.

Minnesota History Whatever 3 is co-sponsored by the Minnesota Independent Scholars’ Forum, Minnesota Association of Local History Museums, Mixed Blood Theatre, Twin Cities Public Television and Minnesota Association of Museums.
