Man charged after family, friends of Parkland victims threatened on Instagram

A California man has been arrested and charged in Florida with threatening to kidnap and intimidate relatives and friends of students who were killed in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in February.

Brandon Fleury of Santa Ana, California allegedly sent threatening messages using multiple Instagram accounts in what he told investigators was an attempt to “troll” victims and gain popularity, according to a criminal complaint filed in Florida.
