Lady Warriors back on winning track with 55-44 win over Mahnomen-Waubun - P7

RED LAKE, MN - The Red Lake Lady Warriors snapped a 3-game losing streak on Monday, January 14, 2019, as they hosted the Mahnomen-Waubun Thunderbirds in the first game of a double-header.

Although seemingly sluggish, Red Lake led right from the beginning and built up a 29-20 halftime lead, then added 26 more in the second half to secure the win, 55-44.

Autumn Holthusen led all scorers with 22 points, Gerika Kingbird added 16, and Latayla Pemberton and Kelanna McClain both had 6.

Sydney Clark had 18 points for Mahnomen, Nicole Swedberg added 11 and Makena Spaeth 9 points.

The Lady Warriors will be on the road to Kelliher-Northome on January 17th, host Clearbrook-Gonvick on January 18th before traveling to Northwoods on January 24th.

Red Lake is now 10-4 on the season, while Mahnomen drops to 6-6.
