Light snow will continue to lift north through this evening, with winds and blowing snow reducing visibilities to under a mile in some areas. After a brief lull, more snow will move in overnight across the northern Red River Valley into northwestern Minnesota.Additional accumulations will range from a dusting to 3 inches.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Snow will be tapering off Tuesday morning, with up to an inch of additional accumulation.

The next round of frigid Arctic air and strong winds moves in Wednesday night into Thursday. This has the potential to bring significant visibility reductions due to blowing and drifting snow, affecting travel during the Thursday morning commute.
