Rob McClain Jr. Poured in 27 Points to Record his 1,000th point

BISMARK, ND – From the opening tip-off, United Tribes was hitting on all cylinders racing out to a 51-18 lead and never looked back against the Lumberjacks in the 104-75 Mon-Dak Conference win.

The Thunderbirds were led by the three-headed monster Rob McClain Jr., Montel Carlow, and Joe Sazue III against Dakota College at Bottineau.

Rob McClain Jr, poured in 27 points and recorded his 1,000th point as a Thunderbird. McClain also led the team-high seven assists, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Montel Carlow added 21 points and five assists. Joe Sazue III knocked down six three-pointers on his way to 20 points and led the team with four steals. Rob Beulieau added 11 points.

The Thunderbirds travel to Wahpeton, ND on Monday night to take on 4-time defending conference champion North Dakota State College of Science. Tip-off is at 7:30.
