BP: Bemidji food shelf to serve employees affected by shutdown

BEMIDJI-The Bemidji Community Food Shelf is now opening its doors to those affected by the federal government shutdown, the organization announced Thursday.

The food shelf is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. No appointment is needed. Customers are asked to bring a photo ID, the names and birthdates of household members, as well as the gross household income. Customers may come once a month and can select enough food for approximately 10 meals.
