Lady Warriors move to 3-0 on season with 82-46 win over Kelliher-Northome - P19

RED LAKE - Gerika Kingbird led the Red Lake Lady Warriors with 31 points Friday night, December 7, 2018, 18 of them coming in the first half, as they handed Kelliher-Northome their 4th loss of the season.

The Mustangs kept pace with Red Lake after being down by 7, 14-7, during the first few minutes of the game, coming back and taking the lead 17-16 at the 10 minute mark.

The Lady Warriors would retake the lead and never look back after that, leading at the half 50-29 and winning 82-46.

Four Lady Warriors were in double figures; Gerika Kingbird with 31, Autumn Holthusen and Angel McClain both hitting for 13 and Kaylynn Chaboyea netted 11.

Josie Savizh led Kelliher-Northome with 20 points and Kylie Owen had 13.

The Mustangs were 9 of 11 from the charity-line, while Red Lake was 4 of 8..

Red Lake is now 3-0 and will travel to Blackduck on December 10th, play in a tournament in Thief River Falls on December 11th-15th, before hosting Laporte on December 18th.
