This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Light snow accumulations 1 to 2 inches will be possible through this evening mainly along and north of Highway 2. After midnight

strong winds will create blowing snow and dangerous winds chills. Near blizzard conditions will be possible, especially in open country.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Blowing snow and near blizzard conditions may continue through midday Monday.

Dangerous wind chills are expected Monday through midday Tuesday.

WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM MONDAY TO NOON CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 40 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Lake Of The Woods, North Beltrami, North Clearwater and South Beltrami Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to noon CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
