Theresa Ann Lawrence, 38 years old, of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was born on December 27, 1979 in Bemidji, MN to Frances Raiford and Francis Lawrence.

Theresa absolutely loved her son Chazz and spending time with her nieces and nephews as well. She enjoyed helping the homeless, reading, listening to music and going to the casino. Over the years, Theresa lived and traveled all over. Along her way through Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, California and Arizona she made many friends. Theresa loved Sylvia Brown and her favorite line to everyone was "Play a JAM !!!"

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her grandparents; Marie and Ben Lawrence, aunties; Lynette Tyler and Andrea Mena and uncles; Gary Lawrence, Harold Lawrence and Gomez Mena.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents; Frances Raiford of Red Lake, Francis Lawrence of Red Lake, son; Chazz Lawrence of Deer River, sisters; Stephenie (David) Lawrence of Deer River and Anang-Ikwe (Darwin) Wind of Red Lake, brothers; Terrance (Arianna) Wind, Jr. and Nodin (Lena) Wind both of Red Lake, nieces; Sierra and Olivia, nephews; Rashaun, Todd, David Jr., Arlan, Darwin Jr. and Leslie, other family members and many friends.

A wake for Theresa will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Saturday, December 29th, all to be held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Waa-maajaa'iwed will be Steve Jackson. Pallbearers for Theresa are William Tyler, Benjamin Tyler, Junior Tyler, Marcus Tyler, David Cronin, Sr., Rashaun Lawrence, Todd Barrett, Jr. and Arlan Ehrich IV. Alternate pallbearer is Leslie Roy Wind. Her honorary pallbearers are Amanda Mena, Frances Mena, Madeline Mena, Sierra Cronin, Olivia Cronin, Trudy Jourdain, Gloria Tyler, Lena Goose, Arianna Lussier and Dave Cronin, Sr. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN.
