Winter storm to bring snow, colder weather to region after Christmas

FARGO - A winter storm is expected to hit the Upper Midwest in the days following Christmas, potentially bringing colder temperatures and new snow here along the way.

The storm is expected to develop in the region on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and continue into Thursday, Dec. 27. John Wheeler, WDAY's chief meteorologist, said it will likely hit all of Minnesota, eastern South Dakota and eastern and central North Dakota.
