Red Lake Lady Warriors advance in 2018 NCTC Girls Holiday Tournament with 63-43 over BGMR

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN - The Red Lake Lady Warriors played their first game in the 2018 NCTC Girls Holiday Tournament, taking down Badger-Greenbush-Middle River in the first round, 63-43 on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Red Lake led 33-26 at the half and added 30 more points in the second half for the win.

Autumn Holthusen led all scorers with 24 points on the evening, five of which were 3-pointers, Angel McClain added 18, and Gerika Kingbird put in 12.

Alyssa Rinde had 10 for BGMR.

Also advancing were Stephen Argyle Central over Clearbrook/Gonvick 71-55, Red Lake County Central over Cass Lake 71-60 and EGF Sacred Heart over Goodridge/Grgyla 67-43.

The Lady Warriors will play Stephen-Argyle on Friday, December 14 at 6 PM at North Country Technical College in Thief River Falls, and if they win will play again on Saturday for the Championship at 6:15 PM.
