All Night Wakes will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 beginning at 5:00 PM and continue until the funeral service on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Red Lake Community Center, Red Lake, MN. Interment at the Episcopal Cemetery in Red Lake, MN.
Eileen Rochelle (Morrison) Mendoza, age 67, journeyed to the Spirit World on December 5, 2018 at Hennepin County Medical Center.
She was born on May 10, 1951 in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Chester and Mamie (Gurneau) Morrison.
Eileen was a loving, caring, outspoken and independent woman. She loved a good conversation and enjoyed oldies music, especially “Blueberry Hill” by Fats Domino.
She is survived by her son Edwin Lone; daughters Trina Fairbanks and Nikki Garcia; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Rhonda Morrison, Diane Graves and Marlys Morrison; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gary Morrison, Greg Morrison & Joseph Morrison; sister June “Tiny” May; grandson Trey Fairbanks; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Eileen Mendoza will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Red Lake Community Center (The Blue Building) in Red Lake. Fr. Jerry Rogers will officiate. Interment at the Episcopal Cemetery, Red Lake, MN
All night wakes will be held Monday, December 10 beginning at 5 PM and Tuesday, December 11th beginning at 4 PM at the Red Lake Community Center.
Honorary casket bearers Brenna White, Carissa Hart, Linsley Hart, Marlys "BB" Morrison, Mary Williams, Greg Barrett and Gary Lussier.
Casket bearers will be Edwin Lone, Nikki Garcia, Trina Fairbanks, Nicholas Grimsley, David White Jr., Tisheana Lone and Rachel Sundahl.
Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, MN served the family.
