Beltrami Electric accepting donations for Mitten Tree

BEMIDJI, Minn. - For the 19th year, Beltrami Electric Cooperative will be collecting donations of NEW or HOMEMADE mittens, gloves, hats and scarves. They will then be distributed to students enrolled in the Head Start /ECFE programs throughout the cooperative's service area.

Through generous donations to the mitten tree program, hundreds of young people stay warm throughout the winter. Last year, the cooperative distributed more than 700 items to children enrolled in area Head Start / ECFE programs. If you would like to help keep children warm this winter, Beltrami Electric will be accepting donations for the mitten tree through Friday, December 7, 2018. The items will be delivered the following week.

Beltrami Electric is located at 4111 Technology Drive, N.W. and items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
