Paraglider lands hard on Soboba Indian Reservation, injuring his back and pelvis

A paraglider was seriously injured Thursday when he made a hard landing on a hilltop on the Soboba Indian Reservation near San Jacinto.

The 26-year-old man, whose identity was not released, crashed about 10:40 a.m. on a butte in the 200 block of Soboba Road, just south of State Street, on the north end of the reservation, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
