BP: Zebra mussels confirmed in Lake Bemidji

BEMIDJI -- Lake Bemidji has an unwelcome guest.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources confirmed Thursday that the big lake contains zebra mussels, the invasive species that’s slowly-but-surely spreading across the Great Lakes.
