BARRON, WIS. — Dozens of volunteers began a foot search here Thursday afternoon looking for any shred of evidence that could lead to locating Jayme Closs, the 13-year-old girl who has been missing since early Monday, when her parents were fatally shot while she was in the home.
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald issued a plea on Facebook for 100 volunteers to report to the intersection of Hwy. 8 and 16th Street in the city of Barron to help conduct “a routine search for articles of evidentiary value that may be related to the incident.”
