Native Americans have some of the lowest voter turnout of any racial or ethnic group. Yet, their votes have made the difference between winning and losing in several elections. Of the 4.5 million eligible voters, just 34% are registered to vote. It’s not just their choice — the legal, cultural and even physical barriers keep them from voting.
