Oriana J. Brenny

Oriana J. Brenny, age 80, of Foley, MN died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 of natural causes. A Catholic mass is scheduled for 11:30am Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. Visitation begins at 9:30am at the church. Private interment will be at St. John's Cemetery in Foley.

Oriana (Ori) was born November 3, 1937 to Adolph and Agnes (Sumner) Lussier in Red Lake, Minnesota. She attended Red Lake Mission Schools and was graduated from Melrose High School. She was graduated from the St. Cloud School of Business in St. Cloud. She married Richard (Dick) F. Brenny on July 26, 1958. They made Foley their home for almost 60 years.

Ori retired after working for the Benton County Recorder's Office and the couple's Accounting business, Brenny Accounting, in Foley. Ori spent her 80+ years taking care of her family, reading and researching medical history. Ori loved watching sports, especially football, baseball and wrestling. It's an understatement to say she was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dick; her parents; siblings, Anita Wensman, Valentine Lussier, Joseph (Poker Joe) Lussier, Donna (Babe) Ellingworth and Randy Lussier.

She is survived by; sons, Randy (Sharon) of Otsego, MN, Ron (Gayle) of Rothsay, MN, Ray of Mount Pleasant, MI, Russ (Brenda) of Bemidji, MN and Roland of Minneapolis, MN; sister Norma Lussier of Rawlings, WY; Ori is a grandmother of Samantha, Jacob, Amanda, Taylor and Livia. She's great grandmother of Michael, Kira, Bailey and Grace. Aunt Ori's large extended family will miss her greatly.
