Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin to vote on name change

KESHENA (WLUK) – Members of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin are expected to vote on changing the name to “Menominee Nation.”

The tribal legislature votes Tuesday on approving the referendum. If that happens, ballots will be mailed out, according to Chairman Douglas Cox.
