Margaret Ann Shodean, age 80, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, September 28, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on March 2nd, 1938 in Red Lake, Minnesota the daughter of Laura "Lizzie" Stand.

Margaret was formerly employed in housekeeping.

She enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends, trips to the casino, and she loved to travel. She took yearly trips to Mexico and she also loved Las Vegas.

Survived by her nieces and nephews: Eileen Stand, Diane Stand, Arnold Stand Jr., Michael Stand Sr., Roxann Anoka, Valerie LaFave, Brenda Carlson, Anthony Carlson, George Carlson and Lori Foss; many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband Leroy O. Shodean, her mother "Lizzie" Stand, brothers George Stand and Arnold Stand Sr.

Funeral services for Margaret Ann Shodean will be held on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Church of Blessed Kateri in Minneapolis.

Interment will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

An all night wake will be held on Thursday evening, October 4th beginning at 5:00 P.M. at The Church of Blessed Kateri.

Casket Bearers will be George Carlson, Anthony Carlson, Justin Eylandt, Craig Mitchell, Michael Runningshield and Jon Stand.
