Empowered Youth Development Initiatives Workshop Series Starts in Minnesota

October 1, 2018

(Bemidji) The Empowered Youth Development Initiatives Workshop Series includes several events in Minnesota this fall and early winter. The first event will be held in Cloquet on October 5th and the last event in Bemidji on December 8th. Other workshop sites are in St. Paul and Minneapolis. The state workshops are part of a 33 event national series including stops in Albuquerque, Kansas City, Chicago, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Sioux Falls, Keshena, Wisconsin and Norman, Oklahoma.

The workshops encourage the development of strategies to strengthen the at-potential status of all children. Youth empowerment is a process where youth are encouraged to take charge of their lives and to develop their potential. “The theme of our workshop series is teach + guide + motivate + inspire + learn = empower,” said workshop director Dan Ninham of Red Lake, Minnesota. “We are providing top regional and national leaders as our presenters in fields of positive youth development, education, music, art, math and science, reading and writing, cultural ways, magic, coaching and entrepreneurship,” added Ninham.

“The audience includes adults with the professional interest in the empowered development of youth on their life journey in and out of the home, school, and field and court,” said Ninham. All schedules and fees are the same for all workshops with a 9 am to 4:30 pm duration, $99 for pre-registration up to three days before a workshop, $115 for day of registration and $66 for a group rate per person for three or more pre-registered at the same time. Most venues have a limit of 90-100 seating and pre-registration is encouraged.

For more information on the series, contact Dan Ninham at 218.368.6430 or coach.danninham@gmail.com.
