HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR (8am-4pm Shift)

RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Red Lake, MN

SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, is responsible to assist with inspection of hotel room cleanliness, maintenance for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Able to assume a role of authority as necessary; sets an example for coworkers; delegates responsibility and empowers associates to make decisions; provides constructive feedback to others.

o Able to control ones' own time and time of direct reports; adheres to budget to ensure that staff have needed equipment; identifies and fulfills staffing needs.

o Prepares for problems or opportunities in advance; undertakes additional responsibilities and responds to situations as they arise without supervision.

o Able to follow detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors processes; concentrates on routine work details and organizes and maintains a system of records.

o Able to adapt behavior to others' styles, interacts with people who have different values, cultures, or backgrounds. Is able to develop rapport with others and recognizes their concerns and feeling; helps others.

o Able to act in accordance with established guidelines; follows standard procedures in crisis situations; communicates and enforces organizational policies and procedures; recognizes and constructively conforms to written rules or practices.

o Able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, networked systems, and other department related equipment.

o Able to follow detailed procedures to ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors processes; concentrates on routine work details and organizes and maintains a system of records.

o Maintains excellent working relationships with other departments and/or other shifts to ensure effective and efficient operations are maintained on assigned shifts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required a Housekeeping Supervisor have a High School Diploma or GED and experience in supervisory position.
