Please join Region 2 Arts Council to celebrate the opening of this year's Anishinaabe Arts Initiative (AAI) Exhibit. This show exhibits traditional and contemporary artwork by Anishinaabe Arts Initiative (AAI) grant recipients and fellows, AAI Council members, and other Native American artists who have received a Region 2 Arts Council grant.

The AAI exhibit opens at the Gizhiigin Arts Incubator Gallery and can be viewed October 1 – November 2, Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Opening reception is Oct. 4th, 4:30pm – 7pm.

The AAI exhibit then travels to the Region 2 Arts Council offices (located inside Watermark Art Center at 505 Bemidji Avenue N, Bemidji) November 9 – December 8, where it can be viewed Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closing Reception is Saturday, Dec. 8th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Miikanan Gallery, at Watermark Art Center, will host a group exhibit that includes artwork by 2018 AAI Fellows, Pamela Iceman and Roberta Vanwert, with opening reception Nov. 9th, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
