Missing man found injured, dehydrated in heavily wooded area on Leech Lake Reservation

PENNINGTON, Minn.—A 31-year-old man missing since Tuesday was found injured and extremely dehydrated Friday afternoon in a heavily wooded area of the Leech Lake Reservation.

At 5 a.m. Friday, relatives of Derrick Harper Jr. of Brook Lake Township reported him missing to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office. Brook Lake Township is 18 miles east of Bemidji on the Leech Lake Reservation.
