Barbara Jean Buffalo, age 51, of the Bear Clan and Bemidji, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 30th, 1967 to Leslie (Sayers) and Robert Buffalo.

Barbara was a happy spirited and loving person who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and her friends. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing while she was cleaning. Barbara liked going to the casino, coloring pictures, watching The Young and The Restless and Grey's Anatomy. She really enjoyed cruising the back roads and sitting by the lake. She will be missed dearly.

She is reunited with her husband; Wesley Cutbank, parents; Leslie and Robert Buffalo, brothers; Brian Buffalo, Robert Mitchell, Jr., auntie; Cheryl Taylor, and great nephews; Nicholas Benais-Buffalo and Darren Jackson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Lakota (Jessica) Buffalo-Beaulieu, Christopher (Leah) Buffalo-Beaulieu and Julia Buffalo, sisters; Kristine (William) Buffalo and Kathleen (Curt) Buffalo, grandchildren; Jaiden, Casey, Amelia and Montana Jr., special niece; Kyra "Kyra Cheeks" White, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The wake for Barbara will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 14th and continue until her 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, September 16th all to be held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Father Jerry Rogers will officiate. Pallbearers for Barbara will be Gary Long, William Long, Charles Hatton, Tom Sayers, Phillip Sayers and Alvin Johnson, Jr. The alternate pallbearer is Mike Hatton. Her honorary pallbearers are Eva Jones-Strong, Debbie French, Lorene Skinaway, Francisca Mendoza and all her nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN following her services.
