MDA Issues Consumer Advisory for True Cost Farm (TC Farm) Smoked Chicken Wings

St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) has issued a consumer advisory for a smoked chicken wing product sold by True Cost Farm of Montrose, Minnesota. MDA Inspectors discovered 169 pounds of smoked chicken wings had been produced without the required state inspection to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of the product.

The bulk of the True Cost Farm smoked chicken wings were served at Tullibee restaurant located in the Hewing Hotel, 300 Washington Avenue North, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, between July 20, 2018 and September 6, 2018. The remaining pounds of wings have been destroyed.

The MDA and the company have not received any reports of adverse reactions or illness due to consumption of this product.
