An Arkansas woman has pleaded guilty to federal charges that arose from an alleged theft at her workplace in Oklahoma.
Jessie Lee Ross, 44, of Van Buren pleaded guilty in the Eastern District of Oklahoma to embezzlement and theft from an Indian Tribal organization, punishable by up to five years in prison, a fine up to $250,000, or both. Ross allegedly stole from her workplace, which is under the provision of the Choctaw Nation, according to an Eastern District news release.
