Entire MN Supreme Court to Spend Morning with Red Lake HS Students Including Justice Anne McKeig First American Indian on Minnesota Supreme Court

First Female of Native Descent to Serve on Any State Supreme Court

What

A day for students in grades 9-12 to learn about tribal courts, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and tribal government.

When

September, 14, 2018 8 am to 3:15 pm

Agenda

8:00 am to 12:45 pm, The Entire Minnesota Supreme Court will attend for a Supreme Court and Tribal Court Sessions. Students will focus on decision-making and work through scenarios.

12:45 1"15 pm, Lunch, provide by RLHS

1:15 – 3:15 pm, Tribal Leader Sessions. Small group meetings for students to ask questions and learn more about the importance of tribal leadership

Session Leaders, All Justices from the MN Supreme Court, Tribal Court Judges and Court Officers, and Red Lake Tribal Leaders

Join us, we are able to welcome 25 students and their chaperones from each area school.
