Extremely high E. coli levels reported along Chippewa River

Heavy rain events in mid-Michigan over the past few days have created higher-than-average E. coli levels along spots on the Chippewa River.

The final E. coli report for the 2018 summer season was released Wednesday by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, which regularly tests the river.
