POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the Red Lake Gaming board is responsible to oversee finances and related reporting for Red Lake Gaming Enterprises, Inc. and Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts. Makes decisions or draws conclusions using data and information from experience.

 Investigates, evaluates information and makes recommendations regarding operational matters, and/or associate disciplinary actions in accordance with policies and procedures.

 Listens to, evaluates information and resolves guest or associate disputes in accordance with policies and procedures.

 Continually evaluates means and methods of operations and makes recommendations in order to enhance efficiency or effectiveness.

 Provides the direction to ensure effective tactical and strategic plans are implemented designed to maximize both short and long-term operating profitability.

 Develops and submits for approval annual operating budgets for each property.

 Develops and submits for approval all capital project requests and justification assessments.

 Ensures efficient and effective performance standards, plans and/or programs are developed and implemented by all business operations.

 Monitors and ensures expenses remain within operational projections or approves variances as may be necessary to ensure services are maintained or enhanced.

 Creates and adjusts performance standards, measures and changes performance for increased efficiency, and internal/external guest service.

 Provides timely and accurate analysis of departmental related statistics, analytical reports, and related operating expenses that will ensure the department functions in an effective, efficient, and profitable manner.

 Actively observes individual or collective work progress; seeks, collects and reviews performance information with team leaders.

 Ensures required supplies are available for staff members to provide the necessary levels of guest or support services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the Chief Executive Officer have at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree Business Administration or related area from a four year college or university: 6-8 years preferred with extensive related experience and must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Red Lake Band of Chippewa and the Tribal-State Compact for gaming.
