Who: Ages 9-18, cost to attend is $125 per participant

Headwaters Art Camp is a week-long day camp for ages 9-18. Students will find themselves immersed in a fast paced program riffing on the theme of Dragons and Dragonflies from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Participants will learn about a wide variety of art media while touching on story-telling and the natural world with local artist instructors Jamie Lee, Susan Kedzie, Mary Therese, Tom Daly, Beth Andrews and Diamond Knispel. The group will plan to take a couple of walks to check out local art and explore the outdoors. John Latimer, local phenologist and radio personality, will stop by Tuesday afternoon for a discussion about the natural world. The hour long presentation will begin at 12:30 and is open to the public. discussing the natural world with the students on August 28th. The public is invited to stop by and enjoy the phenology presentation which will start at 12:30 in the Headwaters Recital Hall. The program will conclude on Friday with an art exhibition and 3pm reception, also open to the public.

Participants will be divided into two groups based on age, and should plan to bring a bagged lunch each day. The cost to attend is $125, applications for partial scholarships available.
