Dirt Road Dixie is a fast rising Minneapolis based band that was established in the return of lead powerhouse singer Cindy Jo. From American Idol to The Voice, Cindy-Jo has gained some great exposure along with knowledge, training and experience through her music journey. Cindy Jo has only been in the music scene for 4 short years, but has made a strong stamp in the industry. Playing fairs, festivals, venues, and weddings from North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa these group has put on the miles meeting so many amazing new fans and friends along the way! Cindy Jo is often compared to Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride, but also creates her own sound and vibe to her music. Releasing the original "Canoe" in July of 2016, and "Pretty Ugly" in August of 2017, which plays on local radio, Cindy-Jo & Dirt Road Dixie are looking forward to continuing a fun, exciting, and successful future. Backed by talented and professional musicians, who in the words of DRD Owner Mark Schloer, are "family".
