FBI: Man Gets Five Years For Abusing Navajo Woman

ALBUQUERQUE ― Mark Silva, 48, of Sundance, was sentenced Aug. 2 in Federal Court in Albuquerque, to 60 months of imprisonment followed by five years of supervised release for his conviction on a sexual abuse charge. Silva also will be required to register as a sex offender.

The FBI arrested Silva April 4, 2017, on an indictment that charged him with sexually abusing an Indian woman May 1, 2016, on the Navajo Indian Reservation in McKinley County.
