Chemicals found in 2 Vermont schools' drinking water supply

MONTPELIER — The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation says two elementary schools in the state have chemical levels in their drinking water above a safe standard.

Officials say Grafton Elementary School and Warren Elementary School both tested above the state standard for PFAS, a group of man-made chemicals that have been linked to a number of adverse health effects.
