Sunrise Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at 6:00 A.M. at The Church of Blessed Kateri, 3045 Park Avenue,in Minneapolis.

Interment Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Rosemarie Weaver, "Anangookwe" (Star Women), age 82, of Morton, Minnesota, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 at her daughters residence surrounded by her family. She was born on June 22nd, 1936 in White Earth, Minnesota the daughter of Simon Williams and Mary Butcher. She loved to go to the casino, she enjoyed watching wrestling, going to the dollar tree and thrift store shopping. Rosemarie also enjoyed going for rides looking for deer and spending time with her grandchildren. Survived by her sons: George Big Bear (Anita), Joe Big Bear (Sheila), Everett Big Bear (Jan) and James Big Bear; daughters: Marilyn Big Bear (Frank Huipapi), Charlene (Richard) Goodthunder, Mary Big Bear and Randi Big Bear; a brother: Albert "Spunky" Brunner; sisters: Diane Weiser and Debbie Brunner; fifty-six grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; sons: Fred Big Bear, Kenny Big Bear and Billy Big Bear and by sisters: Berta Salo and Sharon Brunner, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
