Robert Charles Whitefeather, Jr., age 50, journeyed home on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. He was born March 4, 1968 in Livermore, CA to Edna (Ellis) and Robert Whitefeather, Sr.

Robert was a very private person. Despite being so private, he was accomplished at most things he set out to do. Robert was an excellent outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and trap. He built traps not only for himself but for many others too. He was quite the sportsman too, becoming the Minnesota Compoud Bow State Champion and trying out for the Minnesota Twins as the pitcher. Robert made his living providing tree services to others all his life. He was quite saavy with technology, becoming a website designer later in life. Robert didn’t talk to many people, but if he liked you he could talk your ear off.

Family that Robert rejoins are his parents; Edna and Robert Whitefeather, Sr., his grandparents, niece; Breanna Leigh Wakanabo, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He leaves behind his best friend; his yorkie Baxter, sister; Deanna “Dee” Fairbanks of Cass Lake, brothers; Donald K. (Maggie) Fairbanks of Cass Lake and Dale C. Fairbanks of Blackduck, nieces; Kari Fisherman, Jasmine and Sarah Fairbanks, nephews; LeRoy L. Fairbanks, Donald Jr. and Benay Fairbanks and Michael RedEagle, many great nieces and nephews, and other family members.

Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 3rd 2018 at Northern Peace Funeral Home, 114 Tianna Drive, Walker, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Pastor Mick Marino will officiate. Pallbearers for Robert will be all his family and friends. His honorary pallbearers are all the men in his prayer group. Interment will be in the Morgan Cemetery at Oak Point, MN.
