Final 2 ex-Omaha Tribal Council members plead guilty to misuse of funds

OMAHA -- All nine current and former Omaha Tribal officials charged in 2016 with using federal funds to pay bonuses to themselves have now pleaded guilty.

Former tribal council member Doran Morris Jr., 44, entered his plea Friday in U.S. District Court to a single count of misapplication of health care benefit program funds.
