Joseph Michael Frog

August 15, 1973 ~ July 8, 2018 (age 44)

Joseph "Joe" Michael Frog, age 44, of the Eagle Clan and Thief River Falls, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world from his home on Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 18, 1973 to William and Theresa (Tait) Frog.

Joseph, my loving brother, was never selfish and always helped out when needed. He has always had a funny personality with an infectious laugh to match. Joe loved being around family, especially his Mom. He worked at the 7 Clans Casino in Thief River Falls and was one of their finest Black "BJ" Dealers. Joe always knew how to entertain the crowd and was the brightest light in the casino. To sum it up, my uncle is more than a f***ing paragraph, and anyone who knew him well enough, knows that!

Joe is welcomed to the spirit world by his father; William Frog, brother; Stanley Tanner, aunt; Rose Goodwin, and cousins; Beverly Tait and Thelma RedEagle.

He is survived by his mother; Theresa Frog of Thief River Falls, his fur baby; Powder Puff, brothers; Wilber Tait, Douglas Lockard, Archie Tanner and Gregory Lamson, sisters; Wilma (Gene) Frog, Lydia (Wolfgang) Tanner, Isabelle Tanner, Lorna (Bin) Puttee and Christina (Filmore) Simon and many other family members and a lot of friends.

A wake for Joe will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. traditional service on Saturday, July 14th all being held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Peter Atkinson will be his Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Joe will be Truxton Andersen, Jr., Wilber Tait, Gene Lamson, Jr., Brendon Marwitz, Raymond Matthews, Jr. and Todd Anderson. The alternate pallbearer is Pete English, Jr. His honorary pallbearers are Gene "Dude" Lamson III, Derek Johnson, Chip Vesley, Douglas Lockard, Gregory Lamson, Douglas RedEagle, Dawn Neadeau and Genenika Lamson. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN following his Saturday service.

Joseph's care has been entrusted to Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker. Online condolences for the family may be left at http://www.northernpeace.com
