Woman sentenced to prison in shooting death of sister near Warner Springs

A woman who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of her sister near Warner Springs was sentenced Monday to eight years in prison.

Prosecutors charged Sandra Stoneburner, 59, in the Sept.16, 2016 slaying of Carrie Deatherage, 51, who was shot at a home on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation.
