BP: Five injured in two-vehicle crash near Bemidji

BEMIDJI -- Five people, including an 8-year-old child, were injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash near Bemidji.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded after 8:30 p.m. to a crash on U.S. Highway 71 about 8 miles south of Bemidji, where a 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by 45-year-old Delores Sharon Desjarlait of Thief River Falls hit a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by 39-year-old Amelia T. Oloughlin of Green Bay, Wis., according to a news release. Oloughlin, Desjarlait and her two passengers -- Yvonne Castellano, 41, of Redby, Minn., and Dannette Patricia Needham, 46, of Thief River Falls, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
