BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A day after federal prosecutors said they could not prove who was responsible for a triple homicide on the Crow Indian Reservation last August, the tribal chairman said he will do everything in his power to make sure justice was done.
The federal government has jurisdiction over felony crimes on reservations, but U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said Friday it was impossible to prove who shot whom and in what order.
