Unite Against Hate presents Free concert to promote inclusion and diversity!

Unite Against Hate is excited to feature a diverse group of performance artists for this FREE concert in conjunction with the Unite Against Hate art exhibit opening! In an effort to promote and continue discussion about diversity issues in the Bemidji area, Unite Against Hate presents headliner R & B artist Lady Midnight at Brigid’s Pub Friday, June 1st from 8-midnight. Lady Midnight’s music is an amalgam R& B, electronic, hip hop and soul. She recently completed an artist in residency at Red Lake Elementary School where she taught youngsters various techniques in songwriting and production Ivan Smith, who melds folk with punk, and the psychedelic rock group exo/exo will open for Lady Midnight.

City Pages named Lady Midnight the Best Singer of 2017 saying she “leaves an indelible mark on every song she touches, getting listeners singing along to her memorable hooks even as they familiarize themselves with her name and story.” Andrea Swensson from The Current radio station says:

“There's never been a better time to take a closer look at this entrancing singer, however, as she emerges as a solo artist. [...] It's hard not to picture Sade lounging on a yacht in the Caribbean.” The Current radio station also calls Lady Midnight one of the top 10 new artists to watch for and featured her at a show at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis.

Everyone is welcome!
