MN governor, legislative leaders take to the water for fishing opener

Gov. Mark Dayton caught not one, but three fish Saturday during the 71st Governor’s Fishing Opener on Green Lake near Willmar.

“The early bird catches the worm that catches the fish,” Dayton said early Saturday before heading out. “Please don’t catch mine, I need one fish today.”
