Grand Rapids woman, whose pickup got stuck last winter, is found dead

BABBIT, Minn. — The body of a missing northern Minnesota woman was found Tuesday near Babbitt, more than 2 miles from where her vehicle was located in February.

Tawhna Jolee Pringle, 30, of Grand Rapids was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 11 on a convenience store surveillance camera near Babbitt. Her ex-husband reported her missing Jan. 27 after she hadn’t been seen or heard from for more than two weeks.
