CHEYENNE (WNE) – Wyoming’s recently appointed U.S. attorney says his office is cracking down on violent crime as part of a national reboot of a Bush-era initiative to get violent offenders off the streets.
Mark Klaassen said his office and federal prosecutors across the country are aiming to reinvigorate the Project Safe Neighborhoods program, which aims to reduce violent crime through better relationships with local law enforcement and aggressive enforcement of violent crimes.
