Bemidji Pioneer: Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming receives grant

BEMIDJI— Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming was recently awarded $50,000 in infrastructure funding by Propel Nonprofits in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The intent of the Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program is to support the missions of small, culturally led organizations by strengthening their internal operations, according to a press release.

Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming is an American Indian, nonprofit organization that is committed to community-centered, holistic care for all pregnant, birthing mothers and their families, the release said.
