MN lawmakers consider a constitutional amendment question on transportation funding. Here are arguments for and against

 


The Minnesota Legislature is considering a proposal that would let voters decide to dedicate sales tax revenue collected on vehicle parts and repairs to fund state roads and bridges.

A bill sponsored by Sen. Scott Newman, R-Hutchinson, would put the question to voters as a constitutional amendment in the upcoming general election.
