This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A light glaze of ice for freezing drizzle or rain and snow covered roads are expected to develop for portions of the southern valley and west central Minnesota this morning. Snow will become the dominate feature and gradually spread to the north through the noon hour. Totals by late afternoon are expected to range from 2 to 6 inches with the highest amounts in the eastern Ottertail, Wadena and Hubbard counties area. Winds will be light for this system.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A cold front moving through northeastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota early Wednesday morning will bring a wintry mix to the region. Although a heavier band of precipitation is possible along the front, a mixed precip type may limit snow accumulations.

However, slick roads will be possible for the Wednesday morning commute.

Snow will be possible again on Friday and into the weekend. Some accumulation on roads during the overnight and morning hours will

be possible and cause slick roadways.
