Mark Dayton delivers final State of the State address Wednesday night

When Gov. Mark Dayton delivers his eighth and final State of the State address on Wednesday evening, he’s likely to brag about Minnesota’s progress during his tenure in office and offer some new ideas for making the state better.

During a Capitol news conference Tuesday, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor governor declined to preview his speech for reporters, but said he wouldn’t spend a lot of time looking back on his four-decade political career spanning three offices: state auditor, U.S. senator and governor.
