Bemidji Pioneer: Clearbrook-Gonvick advances in 8A, Laporte falls in 5A

The Clearbrook-Gonvick boys basketball team advanced out of the Section 8A East play-in game with an 80-30 win over Lake of the Woods on Tuesday night.

The eighth-seeded Bears will progress in the tournament bracket to face top-seeded Cass Lake-Bena in the 8A East quarterfinals. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, March 8, in Cass Lake.
